Trencadís
Trencadís is the technique used by Antoni Gaudí in its architecture.
Our 4th grade students (16 years old) with their teacher, Cristina Ginard, have been working on a mural project based in this technique.
The aim was to decorate the entrance of our school with the use of recicled material comming from the four different countries involved in the Comenius Project. The problem was the way of organizing the work in a way that it would be easy for our students. Pep Cladera came up with the idea of making a wooden frame with a plastic net. Therefore, each student could work on its part of the project and at the end all the pieces would come together on the wall.

Mail Art
Mail Art is a worldwide cultural movement that began in the early 60s in the USA, and involves sending visual art through the Postal System. Mail Art is also known as Postal Art or Correspondence Art.
We will send postcards to Luxemburg (Dreiborn) with words that have a special meaning to my young students. We hope they will all get there and none gets lost on the way!!
